Wikipedia is one of the most commonly visited websites in the world. Beside YouTube it is the most popular source of information on scientific topics. However, there is comparatively little information on topics in the Global South or on perspectives of the Global South.

In cooperation with Science et Cité, the GRP-Alliance has written a Wikipedia entry on North-South research collaboration and revised other relevant Wikipedia entries. In 2022 we offered a workshop for young researchers to learn to write new Wikipedia entries themselves and to revise existing entries.

Would you like to write your own entry for Wikipedia or add to an existing entry to disseminate findings from your research? Our guide gives you helpful tips.
